Continuous Wave (CW) Emission
Continuous Wave refers to an emission mode whereby the intensity of the laser beam does not vary during the emission period. Technically defined, continuous wave radiation is emitted in a continuous manner for a period exceeding 25 milliseconds. In continuous wave emission the average power is equal to the peak power.
